£25 Million to be Liverpool’s final bid for Lallana
If Adam Lallana will come to Anfield, it will surely not cost Liverpool FC anything more than £25 million. Southampton FC has been offered a final ‘take it or leave it’ offer by the Reds for the talented England midfielder. Officials at Liverpool presented the new improved offer, up from their initial £20 million offer. With the new offer, officials and fans hope that Lallana will bear a Red jersey before the World Cup.
However, Southampton are known to be demanding £30 million for their prized asset, especially on the back of the 25% sell-on fee that they will have to pay to AFC Bournemouth, which was Lallana’s former club.
It seems that the officials are trying to incite a price war for Lallana owing to rumors of interest from other Premier League clubs including Tottenham and Manchester United. But with Lallana publicly expressing his interest to come to Anfield, Liverpool are expected to be the front-runners in the race.
