ADAM BOGDAN TO BECOME LIVERPOOL’S THIRD SIGNING OF 2015/16
The Hungarian goalkeeper Adam Bogdan is set to be Liverpool’s third signing of the season, after the club officially agreed all personal terms. However, there has been no mention of any pre-medical before his entry, which could indicate that the player will be the first confirmed signing of the season. Bogdan will officially wear the Liverpool shirt on the 1st of July, when his official tenure with Bolton is over.
The 27 year old goalie has been with the Trotters since 2007, in which he made 104 appearances. He has also represented the Hungarian National Team in 19 games.
While the Liverpool management was criticized for spending recklessly in the last season, all of the incoming players so far have been free transfers, which indicates a big shift from the team’s transfer policy of the past.
In another news, it has emerged that Burnley have demanded from Liverpool a higher compensation for Danny Ings. While the deal between Ings and Liverpool was declared to be a free transfer, the Premier League guidances state that in case of players under 24 years, the former club is entitled to receive a further amount as compensation. Liverpool did agree to pay £4m, but it’s been understood that Burnley has demanded £10m.
