1. How long has it been since you supported Liverpool FC?
I became a Liverpool supporter in 2001- that glorious year when the Reds won the treble! So it has been 14 years of real football passion.

2. How did you become a Liverpool fan?
Before 2001, I already had developed a soft spot for the Reds. However, I became a passionate fan after the 2001 UEFA Cup Final. In that game Gerrard netted a 16th minute strike to give the Reds the unbeatable 2-0 lead. After that game I soon purchased that season’s Red Carlsberg Reebok jersey and wore it with pride.

3. Who is your favorite Liverpool legend and why?
‘He is big, He is hard, He is Steven Gerrard!’ For me he is the best Liverpool captain of all time. He was the one who brought joy to all Liverpool fans after a long while and I still remember every single screamer he scored. Gerrard carried the team for 12 years as Liverpool captain and he was perhaps the biggest reason why we won the 2001 UEFA CUP and 2005 UEFA Champions League. He is a great person, a great lad and a fantastic player and he always worked as hard as he could for the team. Gerrard is the definition of loyalty for me. During his career, he had offers from clubs like Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Chelsea and Manchester United, but he refused to leave the team for money or potential future glory. He chose the fans instead and that’s why we love him and will always do.

4. Who is your current favorite player in the team?
I would go for the young Brazilian magician Philippe Coutinho. He is such a fantastic player! He improved a lot last season and certainly deserved to be crowned the ‘Liverpool player of the season’. He scored some great goals and secured a lot of points for the team! I think he has the potential to become a true legend if he keeps on progressing like last season.

5. Which one player do you suggest the Liverpool board to buy for the next season and why?
I could make a list of 10 players whom I could suggest the board to sign. The board members who had the opportunity to sign some great players in the transfer windows, made an absolute mess last season! They certainly need to make amends for it before the next season starts. I would suggest them to prioritize signing a world class striker like Lacazette and Benteke. They should also seriously consider adding a classy central defensive midfielder and a right back.

6. Given the chance to watch Liverpool play at Anfield, which opponent would you choose and why?
Manchester United- probably the opponents every Liverpool fan loves to hate! I would love to stand at the Kop and watch them losing and sing the famous chant “who the f*** are Man United!”

7. Your favorite Liverpool match (that you watched live)?
2005 UEFA champions league final against AC Milan. I will never forget that historic match and I will probably tell my children and grandchildren about that glorious sleepless night and how that group of legendary players managed to make the best comeback in football history being 3-0 down in the first half, levelling the score to 3-3 in the second half and then winning by penalties!

8. Your favorite Liverpool goal?
“Ouuuuh you beauty!!! What a hit son.. what a hit…” I jumped over and over in the house after that screamer by Gerrard in the 2005 Champions League against Olympiakos.

9. What’s your expectation for Liverpool next season?
All depends on our signings this summer! As I said earlier, if we manage to buy a world class striker and a good CDM/RB, we could fight for a champions league place next season.

10. What’s the most memorable thing that you have done as a Liverpool fan?
Going to Anfield tour and watching Liverpool vs Arsenal Game at the Emirates was the most memorable thing I have done as a Liverpool fan! I had the pleasure to sing and support the team with the travelling Kop! That would also be the best experience I had in my life as a Liverpool Fan

11. Your message to other Liverpool fans.
Whatever happens, we support the club not the players! The name on the front is more important than that on the back. You will never walk alone.
