Lallana Out For Minimum 2 Months With An Injury
Reds midfielder Adam Lallana will be out of all football activities for at least two months, after his medical team reported about the severity of his injury he sustained during the Audi Cup to the Liverpool management. The news means that Lallana will be missing out at least 7 Premier League fixtures and the upcoming Champions League playoff fixtures. The player will also be missing out on representing his national team at least on 1st and 4th September.
Missing out on a crucial player like Lallana will indeed be a blow for Liverpool, with fans already pointing out the need for the club to sign reinforcements on time. Despite the increased depth in the Liverpool squad this season following quality signings like Salah and Solanke, it will indeed be hard to replace a player like Lallana who has represented the club on 88 occasions in the past 3 seasons, scoring 17 goals in the process.
